This residence is in the private home of the designer, Mallory Mathison. Currently, the lacquered espresso walls and soft blue-green ceiling reflect light in a beautiful, unexpected way. This is the charming home of a young attorney who was anxious to add feminine touches in to her home while keeping the look layered and classic. Using an Oushack rug with warm rust tones and soft greens was the perfect starting point for the Living Room. Custom faux bamboo nesting tables finished in black lacquer add sophisticated flair while the striped silk sofa adds softness and warmth to the space. This project was a full renovation of both the interior and exterior of the home. White washed walls, dark stained floors and fresh neutral upholstery with touches of color drawn from nature all blend to create an interior that feels harmonious and relaxing, perfect for a beach vacation.
